Maddock General Hospital The closest hospital to Pilot Ridge. Though they don't get a lot of Hammel-ites here, there is always someone on-duty at the emergency room who knows about the school, and is ready for the extra paperwork. |

Greenview Community College Greenview is a two-year college with classes available to non-traditional students. It is located about twenty minutes away from the center of Pilot Ridge (by car) and a half-hour from Hammel. |

University of Vermont University of Vermont has a long-standing agreement with Hammel: A little bit more scholarship money, and each crop of students will have at least one person who can distinguish the school.

Flea Market/Farmer's Market Just outside of town, there is a big, open space reserved for a Farmer's Market in good seasons and a Flea Market in off-seasons. |
