Pronouns: He/him (though he doesn't identify with any other pronoun, he also doesn't mind if anyone were ever to misgender him - though in the future he may identify more closely to demi-boy or nonbinary)
Orientation: Pansexual/Queer (he uses both labels interchangeably) He's also open to polygamy but never been in a non-monogamous relationship.

Powers: Enhanced Perception
Cole has advanced analytical and observational skills and a very keen eye for details far beyond a non-meta human. He can spot minuscule details, access people and situations. He is aware of his surroundings at all time and perceptive of all of the people and objects in the situation. From the outside it might seem that he has some sort of telepathic or empathetic ability because he can analysis peoples body language and vocal tone or that he has quick reflexes because he can tell than an object it about to fall. He is quite skilled at telling when people are lying and knowing when a situation is dangerous as long as it is something that he can perceive. For example, he could tell that a person is about to throw a punch at is face or that a storm is about to hit, but if something completely unexpected and un-observable is about to happen, then he would have no way of knowing.
Cole sense are easily overstimulated, leading to intense migraines and a general dullness in his sense. That said, he remedies the over-stimulation by drinking which dulls his senses anyway. A sort of side effect is that Cole is often over-confident in his ability and while under a heavy influence can often read a situation wrong but be convinced that his ability is working perfectly. Cole is also easily distracted, not to the extent of someone with ADHD. He can focus, it's just that sometimes his ability is pulling his focus for a second or two to deal with something before he can continue to focus on the task at hand. This was more of a problem when he was younger, but as with everything, it's worse when he's drunk.

Any Scars? A few here and there. Mostly from nights when he was black out drunk. Nothing that ever required stitches.
General Appearance: Cole is a very lanky guy. He's always been skinny and could never really get any muscle on his bones, not matter how much he tried as a young teen. Cole is pretty particular about his appearance. He likes to look nice and care if guys aren't supposed to wear bright colors, flow-y material, or makeup, he's gonna look good. That said, but the end of the night, Cole can sometimes look a little bit of a mess. And when he's working at the Mayor's office he tends to tone down his wardrobe a bit.
Cole has a birthmark on his cheek. Normally it's hard to spot it, but when he's nervous, cold, or very drunk it stands out. His walk can best be described as a "gay swagger." He is definitely comfortable with his feminine side in the way that he holds himself and gestures. His voice even gets a little high when he is excited or drunk. He is also very much a fast talker, which can lead to needing to repeat himself because some people have trouble keeping up.
Partly because he's a drummer and partly because he often just has so much energy, Cole is often mindlessly drumming out a beat with his fingers, pens, and such. It's one of the only things he doesn't really notice that he's doing until someone asks him to stop.
Personality: Cole is always on the go. He does a million things at once and prefers to always be busy and surrounded by people. Though he likes to think has great respect for people's personal space, he is more of one who will ask forgiveness rather than permission. But once he knows someone is not a hugger or whatever than he will respect that, unless he's really drunk. Cole rarely gets angry or upset about things that happen to him personally, but if he spends too much time watching the news or scrolling social media, he'll get into a funk thinking about all of the injustice in the world. But if someone is mean to him, he tends to just laugh it off.
Cole tends to amaze people with his multi-tasking. He doesn't really slack on things either. He just has so much energy and such a disregard for healthy amounts of sleep. He'll spend a long day at the office, run home to change, work at the Music store while doing some homework for a bit before heading to band practice, attend a night class or two, party half the night, and then do it all over again the next day. He does have his crash days where he's just down for the count, but they are few and far between.
Though Cole will never miss a chance to hit on someone or drop a sexual joke into conversation, he is careful to never be a creep about it or to say anything overtly offensive. That said, his general party and hook-up nature can rub some people the wrong way. And of course, black out drunk Cole has a bit less of a filter and has been known to get a slap or two from rubbing up against the wrong person on the dance floor.
Cole is always cranked to 11. All of his emotions are felt hugely (they just are generally more happy emotions). If he's excited and happy, you'll know it from across the room. And of course when he's been reading sad news stories, he can't help but let out the tears. He will definitely cry at commercials that have cute babies and animals.
If it's after 5 o'clock, you can assume Cole is already drunk and will maintain a steady at least buzzed state for the rest of the evening. Although he has dabbled in stronger drugs, he doesn't really partake in that sort of thing these days, mostly because of his job. Though he has smoke pot a few times, he always worries that he'll get caught with a surprise drug test.

History
Cole was the first child of () and truth be told, he was a bit of a surprise. Though his parents had always planned on children, they hadn't exactly planned for Cole. So they spent most of his early childhood trying to play catch up to suddenly being parents. Not that Cole lacked for love or anything. By the time his younger sister came into the picture, his parents were pros. Growing up in a rural town in Pennsylvania, Cole didn't have the greatest exposure to the LGBT+ community, but even as a youngster, his parents had an inkling that Cole wasn't going to be straight. Again, they had to play catch up to educate themselves. He came home from school in the first grade to announce that he had a boyfriend and his parents were nothing but accepting an supportive. Of course the kids at school weren't as open to the idea and the relationship died off two days later because of bullying. Cole's parents did worry that his two week girlfriend in the fourth grade was a result of trying to get the bullying to stop, but really Cole just loved everyone. He had a crush on half of the student body.
When Cole was 12 he was walking home from school with his friends and suddenly pulled one of them off of the sidewalk and into a person yard. Just after the friend had ask what the heck was wrong with him, a car swerved off the road and up onto the sidewalk. No one was hurt, not even the car. Over the course of the day several more odd things happened, including Cole calling his dad out for lying, catching a glass before it fell off the dinning room table, and knowing that his baby sister was hungry and would like some Cheerios. His parents spent the next two days trying to think of a plausible reason as Cole kept just knowing odd things, before someone from Hammel came to deliver the answers. Yet again, Cole's parents found themselves launched into educating themselves.
Cole thrived at Hammel. He had always been a hard worker who made friends (and more than friends) easily but as his power grew, he found that both were easier. Not to mention Hammel and Pilot Ridge were both more queer friendly. Still, the side effects of his ability became more of an issue over the years. Hammel was not exactly a quiet place to be. And often just the amount of people would send him into sensory overload. He found that he couldn't go out into town much. And the mall was the worst. Though his trainer worked with him to control his ability and manage the side effects as best he could, there were still days when he was just in bed for most of the day with a migraine. Things changed when he discovered alcohol. He found and easy way to dull his senses. Although he's grades never slipped much, he was caught a few times drinking underage and got into trouble on a few memorable occasions being drunk on school grounds. It was through hanging with the party crowd that Cole rediscovered and old love, drumming. He had dabbled with the instrument when he was younger, but because of the noise it cause, he hadn't really be able to play.
Still, he managed to graduate from Hammel in 2013 and decided to take some time off from school before figuring out what to do about college. He started working at the music store, playing his drum a lot more, and of course partying. Outside of that, he found a growing yearn to do some good for the world. He had always been active in the GSA, school newspaper, Student Council. And every time he turned on the news he was sad about the stories that he heard. The injustice. The racism, homophobia, transphobia, abilism and such. Surely there was a better way. he started attending classes part-time a year ago at the community college, thinking that maybe he was destine for a career in government, or journalism maybe. Couldn't hurt to try to make the world a better place, right? Through his college, he also found his internship with the mayor that he started recently.
