Gregory “Greg” Strickland (middle name up to player)
Age: 62 (Born in 1957)
Appearance information: Needs to have blond hair, light eyes, and stand about 6' 1" tall. He had a solid build in his youth, then lost weight during the tragedy of his husband's murder and his arrest, but has slowly returned to health over the intervening years.

Personality: Prior to his arrest and subsequent indictment for murder, he was a carefree spirit who could be a bit of a flirt (but wasn’t promiscuous; he never cheated on a partner). Liberal and loyal and self-confident and charismatic (and extremely attractive as a young man, women and men were often smitten), he was jokingly considered a bad influence in college, because he convinced others to smoke pot (which he stopped doing) and to drink more than they should (which he learned to moderate) and to throw terrible parties that everyone regretted the next morning (there hasn’t been one of those in a while). In his career, he used those same qualities to get important accounts and to make a name for himself. He used those same qualities in his personal life before settling down with his lover.
After the indictment, his life changed markedly and it’s hard not to be affected by what he’s gone through. Additionally, his lover had been murdered and he wasn’t given the ability to properly mourn because he had to defend himself against the accusations. He has been returning to his old self through support, but he remains changed by circumstances - how could he not be?

Additional notes:
-He attended NYU with Sean and Josh, started the same year as Sean and graduated in 1979. He was close friends with Sean and the radicals; introduced Josh to Sean by inviting him to a meeting of the radicals. He also helped Sean get through the breakup. He and Sean met in their first semester literature class. They subsequently lived together as roommates from sophomore through senior year.
-He was arrested and indicted on murder charges in 2010. Sean helped post bail.
-He did not commit the aforementioned murder and was cleared of all charges in 2011.
-He was recently cleared on all charges and has vowed to sue the state for his incarceration
-Afterward, he moved to Vermont, wanting to put distance between himself and his old life. He had lost a great deal of his social circle because of the charges, but in the eight years since, has made new friends and built up a respectable professional reputation.
-He is very liberal. Now he hates the prison industrial complex even more. But he is more cautious and worries that he remains on a government watch list.
-He had a notorious love of costumes and togas in college. This included M*A*S*H characters, the Killer Bees, and monsters.
